Two of the UK’s most sought-after stand-ups have teamed up to present a unique double-headline show. Skilled veterans of the stand-up circuit, Mike Gunn and Sean Collins have joined forces to provide an unmissable and uproarious night of comedy.
Following their performances on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, these esteemed performers are taking to the road to wow audiences across the UK with killer punchlines and distinctive powerhouse routines. Between them, they have accumulated decades of experience on the live comedy circuit. Mike Gunn’s road to success was initially rocky; a misspent youth and a heroin addiction spanning fifteen years, followed by a stint in a psychiatric unit. Thankfully that’s all behind him, and he’s been a successful and sought-after stand-up comedian for over fifteen years. Sean’s ascent has been rather more conventional; born and raised in Canada, where he scooped two nominations for the Canadian Comedy Award, he moved to the UK to further his stand-up dream. Co-incidentally Sean has spent time as a counsellor in a psychiatric ward. A shared history in mental health institutions is perhaps what led them each to a career in stand-up comedy.
